It's here!  Our second album A Better Way features six band originals: A Better Way written by Cliff Waddell, Jailbird Blues, The Bottle and A Granny's Love written by Blake Johnson, New Memories written by Ricky Stroud, and the instrumental Redbank written by Cliff Smith, as well as a bluegrass rendition of Merle Haggard's Red Bandana.  Other songs on the album include The Tennessee Blues, Too Old to Die Young, Home From the Forest, Children Go, He Died a Rounder at 21, and Cold Sheets of Rain. 

 

We hoped to develop a sense of originality to this album by not only writing several songs, but also by choosing other songs that have not been recorded in many years that were too good to have been forgotten, with our own "twist" on things if you will.  And of course we left two spots open on the list for our fan favorites-after all its the fans that make the project possible!

 

Once again recorded and mastered by Jerry Brown at The Rubber Room, and mixed by Jerry and the Boy's, we hope you enjoy listening to both the vocal and instrumental arrangements we have put on this album as much as we have enjoyed making it for you!
