Ricky Stroud, Cliff Waddell, Blake Johnson, and Cliff Smith decided to form The Hagar's Mountain Boys after jamming at a local bluegrass festival. "We all had the same idea about how true bluegrass should sound." With strong vocal harmonies and hard driving instruments the band is sure to put a smile on your face while you're listening to our toe-tappin' sound!
The Hagar's Mountain Boys bluegrass style is influenced strongly by the traditional bluegrass we all love, though staying modern with original material. Above all, this North Carolina band uses the fun factor to make their bluegrass exciting and energetic.
